This album is similar to "The Völsunga Saga" but has a medieval and dark atmosphere, which in my opinion suits their style better, the use of different instruments, chants and similar effects gives the album the little extra this band needs. Overall this album is great, the vocals are better than in the later releases and they have not yet lost their true atmosphere.
